MSN Passes Google for the #2 Spot on Alexa

Yes it’s true. Apparently Google has slid to 3rd place in the search engine ranks according to data provided by Alexa.com . Over the last 6 months MSN and Google have been battling it out for top position. Clearly MSN has taken the lead. Is this a sign of things to come. Are people getting tired of the same old Google? Perhaps. Competition is good for business and good for the consumer. Better watch out Google. 1. Well, MSN enjoys a better postion on Alexa not because of the search engine - but it is because of the popularity of Hotmail which is one of the subdomains of msn.com (hotmail.com is essentially hotmail.msn.com)
