Samsung announced it’s latest cell phone the SGH-P310 Card Phone II. The phone comes complete with a newly-designed exterior and revamped features.
The development of the SGH-P310 was prompted by the global success of its predecessor, the Card Phone I or the SGH-P300, stated Samsung.
The all black SGH-P310 is roughly 8.5mm thick and features a 1.9-inch 262K QVGA TFT LCD screen, total portability, and a slim form factor. The SCH-P310 weighs in at just 75 grams and sports features such as video recording and messaging, MP3, AAC, AAC+, and Bluetooth 1.2.
The Card Phone II comes with a 2 mega-pixel camera, embedded 80MB memory, and an external memory slot. The P310 also comes with Bluetooth connectivity and a new touch sensor soft key. Also include with the phone is a case offering extended battery life.
“Samsung’s new Card Phone II is loaded with the latest multimedia features with a unique iconic design. Its mini compact size with essential multimedia features meets our highest standard of quality,” stated Kitae Lee, president of Samsung Electronics telecommunication network business.
The SGH-P310 is expected to launch in European markets late in September and South East Asian late in October.
