There have been several instances involving data loss at U.S. Federal agencies. The latest instance announced by the Department of Commerce revealed that 1,137 laptops have been lost, stolen or missing since 2001. Rumor has it that the Samsung SGH-i600 is coming to U.S. markets as the SGH-i607 via Cingular wireless. One drawback is the fact that this phone does not have a touch screen. I currently use a Cingular 8125 aka HTC Wizard and find the touchscreen to be a useful navigation tool.
