George Bush to North Korea:“Sell Nukes - Get Stomped.”

North Korea Nukes

During an interview with ABC news correspondent George Stephanopoulos, President Bush conveyed a strong message to the North Korean government stating that if they attempt to sell nuclear weapons or technology to other nations they will be held accountable. President Bush continued to say that if needed the U.S. will board ships or do what ever is needed to stop the sale of nuclear weapons by the North Koreans. The President did not go into exact details about what type of force would be used to stop the sale of nuclear weapons by North Korea. From President Bush’s tone it could only be assumed that the U.S. would use its full capabilities to deter the North Koreans from selling nuclear weapons.

North Korea has already successfully completed a nuclear test on October 9th. It is believed that North Korea is planning another nuclear test but the date of that test is still uncertain. South Korea and the U.S. have confirmed intense movement and activity in certain areas of North Korea which may indicate a second test is planned. Because the North’s first nuclear test yielded a smaller explosion then planned, it is almost a certainty that a second nuclear test is in the works.
