Microsoft Says No ‘Kill Switch’ in Office 2007

A Microsoft executive is denying reports that they have encoded a “Kill Switch” function into their Office 2007 product which would enable them to disable the Office suite after activation.
Office 2007 includes an activation program which requires users to activate the office software and authenticate their product key either by phone or online. Previous versions of the office suite have this functionality as well.
