Loading ...Windows Vista is Here! Or not.
It seems that Microsoft has got the public excited about the release of Windows Vista. At the same time they seem to have confused the heck out of consumers as to when we can actually purchase a retail copy.
According to Microsoft:
Business users will get Vista, Office 2007 on November 30th
Business users will get Exchange Server 2007 at the end of December
Retail versions of Vista and Office 2007 arrive in stores on January 30th, 2007.
I know you can hardly wait to run out on January 30th, 2007 and get your copy of Vista, right? Well, you may want to give Microsoft a chance to work out all the bugs first. (Or most of the major ones anyway.) 2 service packs later and Windows XP is still plagued by vulnerabilities with patches being released regularly. Think about it.
