You may have noticed that gas prices are skyrocketing again. Here in the Chicago area I have seen gas prices recently at $3.30 a gallon and more. It’s time to stop buying foreign oil and stop driving cars that burn fossil fuels.
Why did GM pull the plug on the EV1 electric car? The test subjects loved the cars. The cars were fast, efficient and best of all didn’t burn a drop of gas! They pulled the plug because if they sold the EV1 and similar vehicles to every driver in America the oil companies would be out of business. The environment would be cleaner. The ozone hole would be smaller. The U.S would be a cleaner, healthier place to live.
I am personally planning to purchase a hybrid or full electric vehicle as soon as possible. The thought of buying gas that comes from oil that is purchased from countries that finance terrorism makes me sick. Sorry but I’ve had it.
Does anyone else feel the same way or is it me?
