Playstation 3 price cut ‘a possibility’: Sony President

Sony’s President has indicated that the company is still considering cutting the price of the Playstation 3 console. Sony President Ryoji Chubachi told the Japanese daily Yomiuri Shimbun, that the company “does not rule out the possibility of lowering the price” of the PS3. He also said that Sony would assess it options before it makes a decision. According to recent reports, there is room for Sony to drop the system’s price, as the prices to produce the system drops.

I don’t have a ps3 i went and bought a 360 but now i hate it I think that if sony drop down the price to $299 they will be neck and neck with microsoft and they production sales go up a major boost.
