The HTC Droid Eris is the least expensive Android OS phone released this fall, and now one retailer is selling it for even less: free for those are switching to Verizon Wireless. This device has an HVGA touchscreen, mobile broadband, and more.
The official price for the Droid Eris is $100 with a two-year service contract. That’s half the price of its sister model, the Motorola Droid, and less than Verizon’s rivals are asking for any of their Android-powered devices.
Even so, LetsTalk.com is offering it for less: $0. However, this price is only available for those who are willing to switch to Verizon to get this smartphone. A two-year service contract is also required.
