Sure, a lot of photos end up online. But only a fraction of the digital pile make it to paper as prints.About 85 billion photos will be taken this year, according to research firm IDC. And that overwhelming and seemingly unmanageable collection shows no sign of getting smaller.
In the predigital photography era, it was easy. You dropped film off at the drugstore, picked up your 24 prints, took them home and probably pasted one or two to the refrigerator.
