HTC EVO Shift 4G May Cost Less than Expected

The launch of the HTC EVO Shift 4G is clearly getting close, as the Android OS-based smartphone appears in a flier from Radio Shack. The advertisement gives some of the specifications of this model, and shows that it will sell for less than many had thought.

Previously it was thought this device would be called the “HTC Shift 4G”, but apparently the decision was made to add “EVO” into the name.

The image in the flier matches one that appeared on the Web several weeks ago (see here), showing that this smartphone will have a landscape-oriented sliding keyboard.

It will apparently also have a 3.6-inch capacitive multi-touch display, and while the resolution for this is not yet known, WVGA is a safe bet.
